100th Anniversary
of the
Passage of the 19th Amendment
Year Long Series of Programs

Starting in March, we will be hosting a series of events to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Passage of the 19th Amendment (1920 to 2020).
Keep an eye out for invitations, press releases, Facebook posts and many other vehicles for keeping you up to date on all of the events.
Just some of the tentative programs are:
Tuesday, March 24th
- Tom Keels, historian, author and lecturer will kick-off the "season" with an illustrated overview of women's suffrage.
Tuesday, April 28th - Kim Hanley of the American Historical Theatre Company will be appearing as Lucretia Mott.
Tuesday, May 12th – James Proud, author of William Penn's Holy Experiment will be speaking about the role of Hannah Penn and other Quaker women in society and in the suffrage movement.
Tuesday, June 2nd - Carol Faulkner, author of Lucretia Mott Speaks and Lucretia Mott's Heresy.
Tuesday, August 18th - Movie Night (Iron Jawed Angels) & Ice Cream Social
Tuesday, September 15th -- Mary Walton, author of A Woman's Crusade: Alice Paul and the Battle for the Ballot
Tuesday, October 13th or 20th - Taylor Williams, American Historical Theatre appearing as Alice Paul
October - Re-enactor of noted suffragist
Nov/Dec – Author, Phila historian to speak about Upper Dublin Suffragists
